Clara Andermatt wanted to take the intense and gratifying dialogue established between music and movement that had given origin to Uma História da Dśvida further. And so it was that the idea for a new project came about - Dan'N Dau, in which forms of traditional Cape Verdian music (batuque, tabanka, funanį, prayer and laments) become starting points for an exploratory voyage into the dramatic and choreographic potentialities of sound. It is this voyage with no predefined destination that PoNTI welcomes as an eagerly awaited world premiere.
